Fall Exfoliation Special
The fall season is here, which means holiday events are right around the corner. Now is the time to get started to make sure you'll look your best. Many of us spent time in the sun this summer and have been left with uneven skin tone and texture and could benefit from one of our exfoliation procedures followed by an exfoliating at-home skincare regimen.
One of our favorite procedures to achieve smoother, clearer and healthier skin is The Perfect Derma Peel.
The Perfect Derma Peel is a medium depth chemical peel that produces visible results with each treatment. This peel is applied in our office and followed at home with retinol peel pads applied for the following two days by the patient. We normally see great improvements with one peel but additional peels can be done over time if needed.
Another popular procedure to refresh your skin for fall and winter is CIT (Collagen Induction Therapy) done with Rejuvapen Microneedling. Microneedling can be combined with PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) or a light chemical peel.
This procedure has many benefits including new collagen production, reduction of photodamage and PIH (Post Inflammatory Hyper-pigmentation) as well as softening acne scars and fine lines and wrinkles.
These procedures have a few days of redness and peeling that might need a bit of prior planning in your schedule. If you need more of a “lunchtime” procedure that allows you to achieve more gradual results but doesn’t require any downtime, we also provide light chemical peels, including Obagi’s Blue Radiance peel and Skin Ceuticals Glycolic or salicylic peel.
Microdermabrasion treatments are also a great way to gradually achieve a deep exfoliation. This procedure uses micro-crystals to lightly abrade the top layers of the skin. Microdermabrasion can also be followed by a light chemical peel if deeper results are desired.
